Eaton® Announces Price Adjustments on QD Couplings Effective January 1st, 2012 (Hansen? & Gromelle?)

Eaton?s Hydraulics Group will implement price adjustments on Hansen & Gromelle product lines effective January 1st, 2012. Price adjustments are needed to account for changes in product lifecycle and in manufacturing economics, including escalating demand for commodities, changing global markets and increasing transportation and energy costs.

The increase for these Hansen & Gromelle product lines is 3% with some select products above this average due to specific material cost issues and/or product lifecycle reasons. Specifically, our Quick Seal? product line will increase by 5% on average and our HK series in stainless steel will not see a price adjustment at this time.

Eaton will continue to make every effort to provide 60 days? notice for any future price adjustments unless we are faced with extremely volatile market conditions.

New pricing will be in effect on all orders received as of January 1st, 2012 as well as all deliveries made on or after January 1st, 2012.

Please take note of the following key product line updates:
- Our DB series is being replaced by our new MLDB series (except for size 3DB). Our former DB series could still be supplied but only on a special request basis. The list prices for the MLDB series can be found on the new price sheet.

- The Hansen 96 series has now been replaced by the Eaton 5100 series product line. For detailed product, dimensional and application information, please consult the Hansen full line catalog. The list prices for the Eaton 5100 series can be found on the new price sheet.
