Eaton Announces Changes to HK Series Dust Caps and Plugs

Dear Customers,

Effective immediately, there will be a running change made to both the color and marking of the HK series dust caps and plugs. The current dust cap and plug designs are yellow in color and reference the “Tuthill” name. As a part of a running change, these quick disconnect coupling dust caps and plugs will be converted to black and the “Tuthill” name will be replaced by “Eaton” (see Figure A). Since these adjustments will be made on a running change basis, you can expect mixed shipments of both old and new designs over the next couple of months.

The outlined changes to the dust caps and plugs will not have an effect on fit, form, or functionality of the products. Part numbers, pricing, order methods, and shipping locations will not be affected at this time as a result of the aforementioned changes. Outlined below are the part numbers that will be affected by the changes covered in this announcement:
